BASSMASTER
Central Open in Jasper, Texas on Sam Rayburn Reservoir:
Feb. 21-23, 2002
Jason placed 51st in the Bassmaster
Central Open on Sam Rayburn Reservoir in Texas. It was February
21-23. He won a $1000. He is sitting in 24th place for the
year in the point standings. He is looking forward to the
tournament on Toledo Bend.

Tournament in Many, LA on Toledo Bend Reservoir: March 21-23,
2002
B.A.S.S. Federation
Central Divisional in Missouri on Lake of the Ozarks: June
2-7, 2002
Jason QUALIFIED for this tournament and
MADE THE LA STATE TEAM. The Louisiana State Team came out
on top with first place. Local and area anglers on the team
included Jason Pittman from Covington (14th overall,
32-3), Baton Rouge's Doug Bickley (18th, 30-8), Donaldsonville's
Richard Sherman (22nd, 28-7), Wade LeBlanc from Gonzales
(25-3), Laiche (33rd, 24-14), Prairieville's Ryan Larussa
(49th, 20-10) and Eugene Hoover from Lutcher (93rd, 6-8).
The tournament qualified the top finisher from each state
team for the Nationals. Four other regions will send state
champions to the tournament, and the top angler from each
of the five regions moves to the 2003 BASS Masters Classic.
Editor's Note: We are very proud
of Jason. He finished 24th in BASSMASTER
Central Open on Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri in November,
2001, and 14th this year.
